It was SO much fun meeting the Cowles family! It made me so happy that I was able to take their extended family photos!
We met through Instagram, and I was thrilled when Yoojin messaged me about booking a session. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE getting new clients! Being able to learn a little bit about them online through their social media before we meet in person is a lot of fun. I honestly couldn’t wait to meet her and her adorable son and husband!
We did their pictures at Bicentennial Park in Provo. It is an absolutely beautiful location, perfect for family photos! It has an big open field, mountain back drop, gorgeous trees, and a really pretty boardwalk through a little marsh. We were able to get a great variety of pictures with just the one park. That’s something really unique about this location!
The Cowles family has the best time together! They really make each other laugh and enjoy each other’s company. It makes it so much fun to take their pictures! It’s easy for me to tell that they are not only family, but best friends. That makes my job so much easier and it’s much more rewarding when I can capture those real, genuine relationships.
Melissa’s family was visiting from Las Vegas and had come out for Logan’s baby blessing. I was so glad that we ended up meeting at this park when Melissa told me that all the parks in Las Vegas were still closed and chained off from the public. After they finished pictures, Lyla got the chance to swing and go down the slide for the first time in a long while. It just made me so happy that she got that chance!
Seriously so happy I met this family! I love being an extended family photographer in Utah!
