I’m so excited to share this beautiful engagement session of Sydni & Max at Saltair! Sydni was close friends with a former bride of mine and I was so excited when she reached out to me! It means the world to me to get referrals and to photograph friends of friends. Now she’s my friend too!
Sydni & Max chose to go to The Great Saltair for their engagement shoot because of how simple and classy it is. It’s a beautiful location that really puts the emphasis on the couple, family, bride, or whoever is getting their pictures taken.
Sydni & Max first officially met while both working at the BYU creamery, but Max had noticed Sydni earlier at BYU sendoff party in their hometown of Spokane, WA. After meeting they both liked each other pretty quick and started dating in February 2018. After lots of long-distance time and both serving full-time LDS missions, they got to pick up where they left off and have been pretty much inseparable since!
Max proposed at their favorite spot, the Provo City Center Temple, which is where they’ll be getting married later this week! After getting married they’ll both be working and going to school and hoping to go on a backpacking trip into the Unitahs!
Sydni & Max shared with me that their relationship has been special because they had to spend a lot of time long-distance couple. There weremany Skype/zoom calls which helped them talk a lot discover a lot about each other. On their they would send each other long lists of silly or sometimes more serious questions about each other. This really helped them build great communication which is a strong point in their relationship.
I’ve loved getting to know these two and hope you have too I can’t wait to party with these two later this week at their wedding!
